Retainer rings are generally used with internal halyard flagpoles by providing a means of keeping the bottom of the flag close to the pole and as an aid to raise and lower the flag. They can also be used on large multi-grommet flags on both internal and external flagpoles as a as a means to keep the flag close to the pole and to reduce the strain on the upper and lower grommets of the flag.
These roped rings are available in 4 colors, constructed of 3/16 in. nylon wire center halyard with zinc plated carbon steel thimble, attached to one end with an aluminum crimp are.
